Lovely Weekend
Really fun, friday night out for dinner, 101 Talbot st, highly recommend it, fab food, very relaxed. And then on to a piano bar for some cheesiness supplied by feather boa, rabbit ear wearing piano players :)
And then on to Kilkenny for the weekend, gorgeous guest house, yummy food, strolls, drinks, a visit to the castle. followed by a cracking sing to finish the week, with some old faces and not so old faces.
All moved in, love my new location. love my new bed :)
The time is flying can't believe it's half way through October already.

yesterday
Had the most awful day yesterday at work, I'm not going to talk about it just makes me angry, as usual a complete and utter breakdown of communication causes me to feel so utterly disheartened. Thankfully I decided to talk to management about it, and the situation is better.
Sometimes I feel as if I am not using my strenghts and abilities to the fullest here. I'm just not sure my discipline is actually me, so I'm just going to have to figure it out.
One of the guys at work is in his second go of chemo, he is an absolutely remarkable guy, I'm not sure I would be quite as strong as he is. He was in yesterday and he met me out side just after I had been told, "actually scrap that 3 months of work you have been working on" and he said "I have never seen you angry before" and it was true. Later he came up to me and told me he was glad I was smiling again, sometimes prespective helps. Thanks buddy.
Oh and a special hello to P, the poor fella is very disappointed, no World Cup for Ireland :(

It's cold today!
Tuesday morning, brrrrrr, cold and wet, it's wintery!
Starting to move my things tonight :) looking forward to being settled. want to get some new lovely sheets for my bed, this evening and some new pillows :)
yummy :)
Lots to do in work, lots of protocols to write. Mildly flirting with the idea of applying for a different job, the difference in money is the attractive factor. hmmmm will think about it today :)
All steam ahead for L's fundraiser! should be fun, am mildly concerned about the quality of the content but will have to see. Ah it's for a great cause, was just talking to him before work, he has lady trouble as usual, whats new ;p and he's having difficultly mailing me the graphics :)
P is in work, settling back in from being away I think and just letting it all sink in. Will call over to my lil sis later. Looking forward to seeing her.
Was on the bus this morning beside a lil fella who was talking about his 1st maths homework, miss my lil bro, he's the same age.
Count your blessings - my aim for today.

Yawwwwnnnnnn
It's just after 2.30 and I'm sleepy already. And it's only Monday!
So thoughts for the day, motivation creeping back in slowly, starting to get some work done, last week wasn't feeling very productive as I was under the weather and a lil fed up about it.
So this week, positivity is the name of the game.
last night I listened to an inspiring lady talk about how giving a little can make you life so full. How by just being around, you can help some people get their sad out. How a tiny personal sacrifice can give some one else the world. It's good to be reminded.
I have lots to do.

He's home
So lovely to have him home, it's astounding how much you miss someone and then don't actually realise it until they are back, and beside you again.
So it was a lovely weekend, nice and relaxing, saturday up early to go to the Airport and then a lazy day of dinner and watching the match and then a friends birthday party. Sunday alot of the same, sunday lunch and then on to a bit of singing.
Found somewhere new to live, thank goodness, have been looking for ages! so will move over the next few days.
Monday morning a lil tired, but happy, up for the day ahead. :)
Lots to do.

Thank Crunchie
It's almost home time and I am glad :) It's been a busy week coupled with being a little bit sick so looking forward to the weekend.
There are other reasons too, He's coming home, my boy, he has been away with work for a month and it was all very strange, two weeks in london, with lots of contact, calls emails msn, he had access in his hotel etc. Found the first week of it very very difficult, adaptation to change, I suppose, simply missing someone, someone who you love :) But you get there and it is amazing how you can come to deal with it. The last two weeks he has been in the states and because of the time difference and the lack of internet access at the course he was doing, communication was limited but it was ok. Surprisingly ok. I'm glad, it goes to show, it is possible to be apart.
We were almost faced with this decision before, he almost went away on a program for a year, but he changed his mind, I remember at the time being ok about it, but very practical, we are young we have to take these opportunities, but everytime I thought about saying goodbye in the airport...........aaaah break my lil heart.
I'm happy I was able to stay strong, so as to not influence his decision, I am happy that he was able to make the right decision for him, that's very important to me. I am happy he's not far away.
Looking forward to seeing him in the airport tomorrow. :)

My first post
Damn it! I finally caved in, I've surcome , I've lost my eternal arguements with countless friends, I'm following the millions, I'm now a blogger!aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh :)
Ok maybe, tis a little dramatic, but I'm happy to say hello.
Today is an interesting day, I am a little under the weather, have had the snuffles for quite a few days now, but that's ok.
I am in work, in an environment I enjoy, something that I am qualified and competent at, but some how my conscience reminds me that maybe there is something else out there for me. I am content with this though and I have time to find it.
I think I am drawn to start a blog today because two people very close to my heart are going away for a while independent of each other and for the moment, cyber space is where I will meet them and give them a hug, and ask how their day was, and smile as they follow their dreams.
